Last weekend we took our annual Holiday World trip with my family. We rented a cabin this year rather than an RV and had a lot more room to spread out. The girls loved the loft that they slept in. As they walked through the park they remembered different rides they rode with Craig two years ago. I missed him the most when I had to ride the Eagles that around and around and around. Yuck. Anyway. We miss him. It has moved into a type of missing him that will last forever. It is not agony but there will be a hurt there that will never heal and honestly, I don't want it to. It is like a war wound or a scar with a wonderful story attached to it. I am proud that I got to be his wife for 10 years, if that requires a little hurt for the next 50 years until I see him again then I don't want it to go away.
